Dear Petra,

Ryan and I wanted to formally reach out and thank you for such a wonderful experience on our wedding day. We wanted to start off by saying that we appreciate your hard work in ensuring everything went according to plan without missing a beat, even with Donna being out. Even taking the time to take our last minute decorations when we arrived on Saturday morning while you were setting up for another wedding was very helpful!

Dear Petra,

The day of the wedding you did a fantastic job communicating to the members of our party the timeline of when we all needed to be ready and where. Thank you for keeping everyone on time and ensuring all of our vendors were in position at the right time.

Your walkthrough for the ceremony/reception and explaining the order of how everyone would walk was very thorough, yet easy to follow. You helped everything flow smoothly and give everything a perfectly orchestrated feeling.

Thanks for the small details like bringing Ryan and I a glass of water while we were doing our photos on the rooftop, since we probably would have forgotten to get a ourselves a much needed water since everything was just one thing after another!

Once we were back in the boardroom to relax, we appreciate your swift attention to us and for bringing us waters, appetizers, and cocktails so quickly! We were nearly stuffed from all the amazing assortment that you brought to us from cocktail hour (but we knew we had to at least try a bite of everything!).

We commend you on how calmly you handled the fire alarm incident, and your calmness helped us feel better about the situation. We are so thankful that it happened during what was probably the least intrusive time, because if it were during the ceremony or dinner time that would have been more inconvenient. But instead, we embraced it and got to hang out outside with our friends and family and talk more and enjoy the nice weather.

We appreciate you and the Hotel letting us know that you would make it up to us by adding on extra time, it means a lot! We are just happy to have it be a special memory in our day, and certainly something we won’t forget!

Once we were back in the reception room, your staff’s food service was delivered quickly and everything was absolutely delicious! Hats off to Nick and the kitchen team for all of the excellent food! We understand it must have been difficult to deal with the fire alarm interruption when prepping all of the courses, but everything that came out was delicious!

You gave us such great attention during the dinner portion and made sure to refill our drinks as soon as they started getting low. We also appreciate how you were able to save our leftover food that we couldn’t fit (because we were so full) so that we could enjoy it the next day. It was also extremely helpful to have all of our decorations packed up for us and brought to our room so that we didn’t have to worry about it after the reception was over. Instead, we were able to continue hanging out with our guests and enjoy the rest of our night.

Needless to say, we are beyond happy with our wedding day/weekend experience at Hotel LBI. Between you, Donna, Nick, and the rest of the staff, we are so impressed and grateful. Ryan and I would definitely recommend Hotel LBI to our friends, not only for weddings and special events, but even just for regular hotel stays since your staff is so wonderful and the building is beautiful. I’m sure we will visit again soon this summer and hope to cross paths again in the future.
